Norwood was led to victory by Gentry Davault and Autumn Gunter. Davault scored ten points along with five assists and three steals, while Gunter scored 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Addy Gray, who scored eight points.
Conway's defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-14. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.7 points per game. As for Norwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Conway will take on the Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Norwood, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Bears at 5:00 p.m. Ava is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
