That makes it seven consecutive games in which Long has scored at least 25% of Charles J. Colgan's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Williams, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Forest Park, who are still winless after their sixth matchup. They were dealt a 69-25 defeat at the hands of Mount Vernon on Monday. While losing is never fun, Forest Park can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 337th, while Mount Vernon is ranked 116th).
Charles J. Colgan's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Forest Park, they bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Charles J. Colgan against Forest Park in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 68-22 win. With Charles J. Colgan ahead 40-8 at the half, the match was all but over already.
