Marengo never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Forreston Cardinals. Considering the Indians have won 12 matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Marengo and bumps their season record up to 19-8. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Forreston, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marengo will face off against Marian Central Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Forreston, they will take on Marquette at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
