Paige Baxter posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
