The LaSalle Royal Lions stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 59-14 victory over IMater Charter. The victory was just what LaSalle needed coming off of a 62-38 loss in their prior contest.
LaSalle found their leader in underclassman Alexandra Gonzalez casar, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds. Gonzalez casar hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for nine straight games. Caroline Barrabes was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
LaSalle is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for iMater Charter, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
LaSalle won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Gulliver Prep at 5:00 p.m. on January 30th. IMater Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
