The Gadsden County Jaguars will be playing at home against the Suwannee Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gadsden County is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
Last Monday, Gadsden County had to suffer through a rough 65-34 loss at the hands of Godby. Gadsden County has struggled against Godby recently, as their match on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Suwannee was able to grind out a solid win over Palatka on Tuesday, taking the game 54-42. The win was just what Suwannee needed coming off of a 51-19 loss in their prior match.
Suwannee can attribute much of their success to Shadavia Jones, who scored 18 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Jones has scored at least 25% of Suwannee's points. Zjamyah Wilson was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
The losses dropped Gadsden County to 0-3 and Godby to 2-2.
Gadsden County ended up a good deal behind Suwannee when the teams last played back in December of 2022, losing 48-30. Will Gadsden County have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more basketball content.
