The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
The team relied heavily on Genesis Miller, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Naomi Benavides was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Tahoma made easy work of Kentwood on Monday and carried off an 11-1 victory.
Mia Hammington was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to triples, as she's now hit at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Malina Yelle, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Tahoma was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in seven consecutive contests.
Kentridge's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Tahoma, their victory bumped their record up to 14-2.
Kentridge's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's matchup. The Chargers have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.2 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Tahoma, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Kentridge continue to outrun the ball?
