Meanwhile, Jackson had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They blew past Oakville 69-39 at home. With Jackson ahead 42-16 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Kole Deck and Judd Thoma were among the main playmakers for Jackson as the former scored 18 points and the latter dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Thoma is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Blayne Harris, who scored 14 points.
Fort Zumwalt North's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-11. As for Jackson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-6 record this season.
