Dundee/Bradford Central has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Penn Yan Academy Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New York (Dundee/Bradford Central is ranked 615th, while Penn Yan Academy is ranked 638th).
Last Thursday, Dundee/Bradford Central lost to South Seneca at home by a decisive 50-34 margin.
Despite their defeat, Dundee/Bradford Central saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Chris Clancey, who scored 11 points along with four steals, was perhaps the best of all. Clancey hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Aiden Monell was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Meanwhile, Penn Yan Academy pushed their score all the way to 59 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 72-59 to World of Inquiry.
Dundee/Bradford Central's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6. As for Penn Yan Academy, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Dundee/Bradford Central came up short against Penn Yan Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 44-36. Can Dundee/Bradford Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
