The Santa Rita Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their sixth straight defeat. They took a serious blow against Palo Verde, falling 58-18. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Santa Rita in their matchups with the Titans: they've now lost seven in a row.

Gaby Oliver was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 30 points, 20 rebounds, and ten steals for Palo Verde. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Oliver has scored all season. Alexis Guerrero was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six steals.
Santa Rita's loss was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Palo Verde, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-15.
Santa Rita will take on the Yellow Jackets at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Palo Verde, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Vipers at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. San Miguel comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
