They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Manitowoc Lincoln Ships. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ships this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  2-1  back in August.
 While De Pere ultimately came up short, they really made  Manitowoc Lincoln work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-17, 17-25,  25-4.
De Pere's offense was headlined by  Allie Neuenfeldt and  Erin O'Connor, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from  Kayli Raygo and her 25 assists.  Avery Tripp controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
De Pere's defeat dropped their record down to 22-18. As for Manitowoc Lincoln,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 22-19.
 The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. After both having extra time off, De Pere and Appleton West will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Manitowoc Lincoln, they will take on Neenah at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
