It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Edison Chargers can now relate to. They took a serious blow against Coldwater on Friday, falling 42-7. It was the first time this season that Edison let down their fans at home.
Marcus Medina threw for 67 yards on eight of 16 attempts. Grayson Smith was his top target, picking up 31 receiving yards. On the ground, Cyrus Finnen rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown.
Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Coldwater, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.
Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Coldwater will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Liberty Center at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Liberty Center is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
