Volleyball Recap: Millard North Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

If Kearney wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Millard North, they should've done a better job of containing Sarah Faust. The Mustangs narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Bearcats 2-1 for which the team can thank Faust, who had 13 digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having also posted 12 or more assists the last three times she's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Millard North and bumps their season record up to 7-7. As for Kearney, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Millard North will face off against rival Omaha Westside on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kearney is set to take on their familiar foe Columbus on Tuesday.
