The Kentridge Chargers can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They claimed a resounding 66-23 win over Federal Way on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-11.
Sydney Esperanza continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring ten points along with nine steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Jaya Brown, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Kentridge and bumps their season record up to 10-7. As for Federal Way, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kentridge will square off against Decatur at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Decatur will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. As for Federal Way, they will head out on the road to take on Kentwood at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Kentwood presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Federal Way in Washington (Kentwood is ranked 68th, while Federal Way is ranked 278th).
