After flying high against Darrouzett on Tuesday, the Panhandle Christian Home Educators Warriors came back down to earth. Panhandle Christian Home Educators was dealt a 92-34 loss at the hands of Texline on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Panhandle Christian Home Educators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 515th, while Texline is ranked 97th).
Texline's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trayven Wilson led the charge by scoring 21 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals. Hadley Crisp was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 blocks.
Panhandle Christian Home Educators' loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Texline, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
Panhandle Christian Home Educators will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against White Deer at 12:45 p.m. on December 8th. As for Texline, they will square off against Quanah at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Quanah is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
