The Basis Yeti stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Red Mesa 60-40. The win was familiar territory for Basis who now have six in a row.
It was another big night for Jack Engelthaler, who dropped a double-double on 36 points and 14 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of McLane Baillie, who scored ten points along with seven steals.
Basis' victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Red Mesa, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Basis will face off against St. Michael at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Red Mesa, they will head out on the road to square off against Monument Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Monument Valley presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Red Mesa in their respective states (Monument Valley is ranked 137th in Utah, while Red Mesa is ranked 326th in Arizona).
