The Arundel Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 60-23 loss at the hands of Annapolis. Arundel has not had much luck with Annapolis recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Annapolis' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mckenzie Fuller, who scored 13 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. It was the first time this season that Fuller posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Audrey Skinner, who scored 16 points.
Arundel's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Annapolis, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-4.
Arundel's road trip will continue as they head out to face Oakdale on February 12th. Oakdale will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Arundel surely won't give up without a fight. As for Annapolis, they will head out on the road to face off against North East at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
