McLane's rough 73-52 defeat to Fresno Christian might stick with them for a while. McLane lost against Fresno Christian in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 66-64 score last time.
When it comes to explaining why McLane lost, one person who can't be blamed is James Brown. Despite the final result, he scored 21 points along with 3 steals. The match was Brown's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Pamanes, who scored 8 points.
McLane's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Fresno Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
McLane's road trip will continue as they head out to face Paso Robles at 6:30 p.m. on December 13th. As for Fresno Christian, they will square off against Mendota at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
