There's no place like home for Summit, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Chatham Cougars on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

While Summit won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23.

Mackenna Welsh paced Summit's offense, picking up nine kills. Welsh got some help from Nadia Moghal and her 17 assists. Sophie Meltzer controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Summit's win bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Chatham, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Summit will face off against Cranford at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chatham, they will head out on the road to square off against Parsippany Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
