After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Triton, the Jordan-Matthews Jets were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They came out on top against Western Harnett by a score of 46-36. That's another feather in the cap for Jordan-Matthews, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Lia Carter was her usual excellent self, scoring 17 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Jordan-Matthews' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jada Scott, who scored eight points.
Jordan-Matthews is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Western Harnett, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Jordan-Matthews won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Eastern Randolph at 2:00 p.m. on December 29th. Eastern Randolph is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Western Harnett, they will head out on the road to face off against Overhills at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Hopefully Overhills focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Wednesday.
