Carmichaels is a perfect 10-0 against Bethlehem Center since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Mighty Mikes are taking a road trip to face off against the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Carmichaels is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Carmichaels is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Avella with a sharp 17-0 win on Wednesday. The Mighty Mikes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Bailey Barnyak made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Carmichaels got a massive performance out of Kaitlyn Waggett, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave Waggett a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ke'Lani Chun, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Carmichaels always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .575. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Avella only posted an OBP of .118.
Meanwhile, Bethlehem Center lost 17-3 to Jefferson-Morgan on Wednesday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jenna Pohill was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Stepp, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Carmichaels' victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Bethlehem Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.
Everything went Carmichaels' way against Bethlehem Center when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Carmichaels made off with a 15-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mighty Mikes since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
