The Oak Park Knights lost against the Harper Woods Pioneers back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Oak Park had to suffer through a rough 71-29 loss at the hands of Harper Woods. Oak Park was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-14.
When it comes to explaining why Oak Park lost, one person who can't be blamed is Taylor Adamson. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds. Madison Johnson-Williams was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
This is the second loss in a row for Oak Park and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Harper Woods, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oak Park's road trip will continue as they head out to face South Lyon at 7:00 p.m. on December 14th. As for Harper Woods, they will face off against Detroit Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Detroit Country Day focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Saturday.
