When it comes to explaining why Bozeman lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jordyn Shacklett . Despite the final result, she scored five points.
Holmes County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emily McGowan, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Karson McGowan, who scored nine points along with seven steals.
Bozeman's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Holmes County, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bozeman will be home for the holidays to greet Covenant Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Holmes County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Enterprise at 6:45 p.m. on December 12th. Enterprise will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
