Basketball Recap: Kennedie Sanders Key Part of a Team Effort in Terriers Win

There's no place like home for Titusville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They came out on top against the Cocoa Beach Minutemen by a score of 41-30 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 47-23 last Monday.

Titusville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kennedie Sanders, who posted 23 points and four steals. Sanders has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last 12 times she's played. Braniyah Brown was another key player, putting up six points and five rebounds.

Titusville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cocoa Beach only pulled down eight offensive rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why Cocoa Beach lost, don't look at Aariyah Robinson. Despite the final result, she went 5 of 12 on her way to 15 points and six rebounds. That's the most rebounds Robinson has posted since back in January.

Titusville now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Cocoa Beach, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Titusville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 47-31 loss against Heritage on the 21st. As for Cocoa Beach, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-14 defeat against Sebastian River on the 21st.
