 In other batting news, Venture Academy got a  massive  performance out of  Sariya Reyes, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, six  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Tiffany Bruss, who  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  runs,  and a  double.
 The  victory  made it two in a row for Venture Academy and  bumps their season record up to 6-4. As for Elliot Christian, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
 Venture Academy will head out on the road to  challenge  Millennium at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Millennium is coming into the  contest with three straight  defeats at home,  meaning Venture Academy will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  win. Elliot Christian will take on Big Valley Christian at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Big Valley Christian's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2  runs per game  this season, so Elliot Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
