Zuni can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Thoreau Hawks. The Thunderbirds not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 11th (when they won 20-4).

Zuni's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Thoreau, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Zuni beat the Hawks by a score of 11-3 later that day.
