Mullen is 3-0 against Valentine since December of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Mullen Broncos will be playing at home against Valentine. Mullen will be strutting in after a victory while Valentine will be coming in after a defeat.
Mullen had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against Sutherland by a score of 45-32.
Meanwhile, Valentine came up short against McCook on Saturday and fell 52-41. Valentine has struggled against McCook recently, as their matchup on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Isaac Cronin, who scored 15 points. He scored a full 36.6% of Valentine's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Dominic Beebout, who scored 10 points.
Mullen's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Valentine, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Mullen strolled past Valentine in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 by a score of 51-35. Does Mullen have another victory up their sleeve, or will Valentine turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
