Fort Bend Dulles' success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Jaylen Koovakada, who  went 7 of 14  on his way to 22  points and five  rebounds, and   Jayden Redhead, who  posted 18 points and three  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ibrahim Ly, who  put up six  points and eight  rebounds.
 Fort Bend Dulles was working as a unit and  finished the game with 11  assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Santa Fe only racked up five  assists.
 Meanwhile,  Fort Bend Hightower unfortunately witnessed the end of their  five-game winning streak on Friday. The  contest between them and Yates didn't end well, with Fort Bend Hightower falling  86-69. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  on Tuesday (59), the Hurricanes still had to take the loss.
 Fort Bend Dulles' win bumped their record up to 3-12. As for Fort Bend Hightower, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
 Fort Bend Dulles and Fort Bend Hightower were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting  back in January, but Fort Bend Dulles came up empty-handed after  a  53-52 defeat. Can Fort Bend Dulles avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
