Favour Akih's Big Game Leads Hayes over Dublin Scioto
Starting off the list is Hayes's Favour Akih, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Akih rushed for 217 yards and three touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 151 rushing yards dating back to last season.
The win (which was Hayes' third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Akih and Hayes are taking a road trip to face off against Westland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Eden Williams Turns in Season-Best Performance
Dublin Scioto came up short on Friday despite Eden Williams delivering his best game to date. Williams rushed for 208 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 89 yards.
Hayes's probably not too fond of Williams given he always seems to get the better of them. When Williams last faced the Pacers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.

Westerville North was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Jonathan Stevens did his best to prevent it. Stevens turned in nothing short of a gem, making seven total tackles.
This year, Stevens has averaged 6.1 total tackles per game and for the season has 2 interceptions. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had two rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to seven.

Nevin Densel Turns in Another Game with at Least Five Total Tackles
Nevin Densel continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 17th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least five total tackles. He produced his best game of the campaign : he made 18 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
This season, Densel has averaged 13.8 total tackles per game.

Westerville South came up short on Friday despite London Vickroy delivering his best game to date. Vickroy wasn't messing around, forcing two fumbles and making nine total tackles (3.0 for loss). The game was his third straight with five or more total tackles.
Westerville South is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5. Vickroy will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Franklin Heights on Friday.
