The Brennan Bears will take on the Reagan Rattlers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Brennan's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
Brennan is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Warren: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Brennan blew Warren out of the water with a 90-39 final score. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 23 contests by 25 points or more this season.

Brennan's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kingston Flemings, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine assists. Flemings is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last 12 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Talon Todd, who went 6-for-10 en route to 14 points.
Brennan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in seven consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Reagan was able to grind out a solid win over Brandeis on Wednesday, taking the game 66-56. Given the Rattlers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Broncos are ranked 212th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Brennan better keep an eye on Chase Hill. He was instrumental in Reagan's win, putting up 15 points and eight boards. Cole Hill was another key player, posting 15 points.
Brennan's victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 29-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37.3 points. As for Reagan, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season.
Tuesday's contest is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Brennan just can't miss this season, having nailed 53.2% of their field goals per game. However, it's not like Reagan struggles in that department as they've made 48.7% of their shots this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Brennan came out on top in a nail-biter against Reagan in their previous meeting back in March of 2022, sneaking past 56-54. Does Brennan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Reagan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
