While Valliant's win against Atoka wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Valliant skirted past Atoka 4-3. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Wampus Cats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Cameron Jones looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed over his last five matchups.

At the plate, Valliant's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Davion Hankins, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Another was Auzy Trapp, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Valliant's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Atoka, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Looking ahead, Valliant will venture away from home to face off against Fort Towson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Atoka, they will take on Coleman at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Coleman has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
