St. Mary will challenge Deubrook on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Deubrook will be strutting in after a victory while St. Mary will be stumbling in from a defeat.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 14-63, which was the final score in St. Mary's tilt against Castlewood last Friday.
Meanwhile, Deubrook narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 34-32. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
St. Mary's loss took them down to 2-3 while Deubrook's win pulled them up to 2-3. In Deubrook's victory, junior Trace Vierhuf rushed for 80 yards and 2 touchdowns and senior Clayton Koppatschek rushed for 109 yards and 1 touchdown. We'll see if St. Mary have a strategy for dealing with them or if they lead their team to another successful outing.
