This season hasn't been kind to the Mount Judea Eagles, who are still winless after their ninth game. They were beaten by Lead Hill 58-28 on Thursday. Mount Judea lost against Lead Hill in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 63-22 score last time.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lead Hill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Coda Lemon, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lemon has scored at least 25% of Lead Hill's points. Another player making a difference was Kaden Baker, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Mount Judea bumped their record down to 0-9 with that loss, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Lead Hill, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-15.
Mount Judea won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Omaha at 2:30 p.m. on December 15th. Omaha presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Mount Judea in Arkansas (Omaha is ranked 106th, while Mount Judea is ranked 283rd). Lead Hill won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mountain Home Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on December 15th. Mountain Home Christian Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
