Boyertown got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Trey Kern out in front who scored 26 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 blocks. Another player making a difference was Jack Greaves, who scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 blocks.
Boyertown's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Kennett, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Boyertown will head out on the road to face off against Antietam at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Kennett, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Octorara Area at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
