Johnson has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last eight times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kai Lewis, who scored 19 points.
Platte County's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Kansas City East Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Platte County will take on Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
