St. Peter-Marian will be playing at home against Oakmont Regional at at 3:00 PM on Saturday. If the contest is anything like the 35-41 finish from the last time they met, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
There's no need to mince words: St. Peter-Marian lost to Doherty Memorial last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 6-42.
Meanwhile, we expected Oakmont Regional to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked Maynard, and they did. Oakmont Regional found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 21-44 punch to the gut against Maynard. Oakmont Regional were down by 7-36 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
