Sadly, the Meadowbrook Monarchs are still looking for their first win of the season after 15 contests. They were outmatched by Dinwiddie at home and fell 50-23. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Meadowbrook in their matchups with Dinwiddie: they've now lost four in a row.
It was another big night for Carolina Berry, who scored 21 points for Dinwiddie. Another player making a difference was Milana Jones, who scored 11 points.
Meadowbrook's loss was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-15. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 12.1 points per game. As for Dinwiddie, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.
Meadowbrook's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Highland Springs at 7:30 p.m. on February 12th. Meadowbrook comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. Dinwiddie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
