Several Antlers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was President Calamaco, who picked up 125 receiving yards and three scores. Calamaco is becoming a predictor of Tivy's success: when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns the team is 4-2 (and 2-3 when he doesn't). The Antlers also got help from Kyrin Armelin, who showed off his sure hands for 103 receiving yards.
Gregory-Portland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carter Dominguez, who threw for 277 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 123 yards and a pair of TDs. Those 277 passing yards gave Dominguez a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cody Adame, who rushed for 223 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.9 yards per carry.
