After a string of three wins, The Findlay Trojans''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 36-35 to Olentangy Liberty. The match was a 21-21 toss-up at halftime, but Findlay was just barely outscored by Olentangy Liberty in the second.
Olentangy Liberty was led to victory by Andrew Leonard and Jake Struck. Leonard threw for 280 yards and three touchdowns, while Struck gained 258 total yards and three touchdowns. Struck's longest reception was for an incredible 93 yards.
Findlay's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Olentangy Liberty, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8.
Findlay does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Olentangy Liberty will square off against Dublin Coffman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
