The Springdale Dynamos will head out on the road to square off against the Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions at 7:30 p.m. Springdale will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 396th, while Greensburg Central Catholic is ranked 58th).
Last Tuesday, Springdale came up short against Jeannette and fell 63-50. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Springdale in their matchups with Jeannette: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, Greensburg Central Catholic waltzed into their contest on Monday with nine straight wins but they left with ten. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 65-27 win over Clairton. Greensburg Central Catholic has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Springdale's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Greensburg Central Catholic, they pushed their record up to 19-2 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Springdale took a serious blow against Greensburg Central Catholic in their previous matchup back in January, falling 74-33. Can Springdale avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
