The Front Range Christian Falcons will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Kiowa Indians at 6:00 p.m. on February 12th. Front Range Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Thursday, Front Range Christian lost to Denver Academy on the road by a decisive 67-52 margin.
Despite the defeat, Front Range Christian saw an underclassman step up: Zach Woo scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Ford, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Kiowa had to suffer through a rough 69-31 loss at the hands of Peetz. While losing is never fun, Kiowa can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 330th, while Peetz is ranked 137th).
Front Range Christian's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Kiowa, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Front Range Christian against Kiowa in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 66-25 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Front Range Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
