After a string of three wins, The Evergreen Park Mustangs''s good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of Shepard by a score of 23-20. Evergreen Park was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Shepard apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Although Evergreen Park took the loss, they still got scores from David Johnson, Markell Johnson, and Jedidiah Adjayi.
Evergreen Park's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Shepard, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6.
Evergreen Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Shepard is also done with their season.
