Switzerland County can attribute much of their success to Kadyn Riley, who scored 18 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals, and Cam Craig, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Craig has scored at least 25% of Switzerland County's points. Bradley Romans was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Meanwhile, Rising Sun's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 64-44 walloping at the hands of Jac-Cen-Del. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Rising Sun in their matchups with Jac-Cen-Del: they've now lost six in a row.
Despite their defeat, Rising Sun saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Aiden White, who scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Brody Morris, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds.
Their wins bumped Switzerland County to 3-1 and Trimble County to 1-2.
Keep an eye on the arc in Friday's match: Switzerland County have made nailing deep shots look easy this year this season, having only averaged 6 threes per game. However, it's not like Rising Sun struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.7 per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
