Hull-Daisetta hasn't had much luck against Evadale recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bobcats will welcome the Rebels at 4:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.
Hull-Daisetta's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over Burkeville. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won four games by 15 runs or more so far this season.

Josh Mocini and Brayden Fregia were major factors no matter where they played. On the mound, Mocini pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Fregia tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. At bat, Mocini went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI, while Fregia went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that Fregia has hit this season.
In other batting news, Gauge Russell was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Burks, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Hull-Daisetta always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .769. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Evadale). They blew past Deweyville 13-1 on Friday. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Cooper Palmer made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). He has become a key player for Evadale: the team is 4-2 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-4 otherwise. Palmer was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brett Buckner, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Evadale is undefeated when Buckner posts two or more runs, but 3-6 otherwise. Easton Gray was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
The win got Evadale back to even at 6-6. As for Hull-Daisetta, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
Evadale's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Hull-Daisetta hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .352. It's a different story for Evadale, though, as they've only averaged .218. Will they be able to contain Hull-Daisetta's hitters?
Hull-Daisetta might still be hurting after the 15-0 defeat they got from Evadale in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Will the Bobcats have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
