The Riverwalk Academy Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Brashier Middle College Charter, falling 86-37. Riverwalk Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-19.
Nick Mattison continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Brashier Middle College Charter, scoring 20 points. Ridge Bryson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Riverwalk Academy's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-10. As for Brashier Middle College Charter, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
Riverwalk Academy will look to defend their home court on Monday against Lewisville at 7:15 p.m. As for Brashier Middle College Charter, they will head out on the road to take on High Point Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. High Point Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
