Lawrence-Nelson scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Amherst, 22-14. At the time, the Broncos were ranked seventh in the state, while the Raiders were 34th.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Lawrence-Nelson, who defeated seventh ranked Amherst, 22-14.
Kenesaw's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Keaton Harpham threw for 73 and 2 touchdowns and Wyatt Woodman had 55 yards receiving. On the ground Isaiah McChesney chipped in 181 yards. Colton Blankenship helped Kenesaw's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 18 yards.

Parker Sis provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Wildcats topped Kenesaw. He completed 3 passes for 45 yards and also ran for 149 yards. Sis' key target this week was Adam Lundeen, who caught 2 passes for 21 yards.
Tyler Long was a key player and the best on defense this week as Craig Schnitzler's team lost to Axtell. He forced 1 fumble and recorded 1 fumble.
Ron Evans' team's Trey Taubenheim and Breyden Eckhout have formed a dream team this season, leading D2 District 6 (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Taubenheim has thrown for 735 yards this season, while Eckhout has 16 catches for 387 yards. Wilcox-Hildreth's Tommy Campbell leads the league in rushing yards with 682.
Brian Blevins' team was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping the Broncos. The Raiders came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 34 last week.
