You can't lose the contest if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Treasure Coast's strategy against the Chargers on Friday. Treasure Coast took down the Chargers 65-46.
It was another big night for Tyson Wilson, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 11 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last three games he's played. Wood Pierre was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six steals.
Meanwhile, Palm Beach Gardens pushed their score all the way to 57 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 69-57 to Palm Beach Central. While losing is never fun, Palm Beach Gardens can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 248th, while the Broncos are ranked 105th).
Treasure Coast has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Palm Beach Gardens, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-11.
Treasure Coast couldn't quite finish off the Gators in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 and fell 46-44. Can Treasure Coast avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
