Fairless is 5-0 against East Canton since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Fairless Falcons will be staying on the road to face off against the East Canton Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Fairless will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 700th, while East Canton is ranked 296th).
Fairless suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were beaten by Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy 67-26. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Fairless in their matchups with Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy: they've now lost eight in a row.
Meanwhile, East Canton strolled past Springfield with points to spare on Sunday, taking the game 52-36.
Fairless bumped their record down to 2-11 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for East Canton, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.
Fairless strolled past East Canton when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a score of 54-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fairless since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
