The Quad Cities Christian Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 63-18 victory over Tri-State Christian. That 45 points margin sets a new team best for Quad Cities Christian this season.
Quad Cities Christian was led to victory by Mikah Wolf and Piper Ochkie. Wolf dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds, while Ochkie dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 steals. Ochkie has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played. Maddy Bollinger was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Tri-State Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kennedy Duenser, who scored seven points. Another player making a difference was Makayla Zelle, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Quad Cities Christian's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Tri-State Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
