The New Trier Trevians will venture away from home to square off against the Glenbrook South Titans at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. New Trier is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
New Trier barely beat Evanston the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trevians were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Wildkits on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trevians.
New Trier got a great performance from Greg Campitelli as he pitched five innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, Cj Donnelly was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Mason Bloom was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
New Trier always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Glenbrook South's offense. They lost 8-0 to Loyola Academy on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Titans have suffered against the Ramblers since April 28, 2017.
Glenbrook South also got a good showing from Patrick Wilkins, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
At the plate, Glenbrook South saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Dooman, who went 2-for-3 with one double.
New Trier's victory bumped their record up to 14-5-1. As for Glenbrook South, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
Glenbrook South's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: New Trier has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .434. It's a different story for Glenbrook South, though, as they've only averaged .362. Will they be able to contain New Trier's hitters?
New Trier beat Glenbrook South 4-0 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trevians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
